i was 15. i got my bass in sep of 02, for my 16th birthday (which is actually in oct) cuz i was in a band and we were playing for a baptism and they needed a bass player. so yeah, i had to learn in 3 weeks how to play some songs. but i started piano when i was 6 and harp when i was 10. so yeah, i had some background. next, i wanna learn regular guitar and sometime... drums! lol, i love music. bass is so awesome though. i am lovin' it!!!!

I was a frosh in college. I wanted to play regular guitar and love the sound of a quality twelve string played by a quality artist, but my problem is short fat fingers! I took up the bass after trying hard to learn the six string and becoming frustrated... I love bass too though and at age 36, continue to practice and work to learn more.
