I Love It

I love how they spice up the regular praise and worship songs. I played their version of Heart Of Worship at church and the congregation was in awe.

My Refuge is definitely the best song on the CD.

This is one of the first albums I remember crossing the lines between P&W and rock (others include Skalleluia by the Insyderz). If memory serves, this album preceeded the onslaught of "modern praise and worship" albums, which somehow always seemed to included I could sing of your love forever and i want to know you. Great snapshot of CCM history. Too bad the band's following projects didn't quite live up to the original.

My Refuge adn Holiness are the best songs on the Cd and neither made the Live disc...

Their Live disc is their ebst...its the best Live disc I've ever ehard as well so...

This CD, CUtting Edge by Delirious? adn the Exodus project began the "modern worship" era.

As for Skallelueia by Insyderz...I cannot stand that CD, asnd they aren't rock....they coem close ina few spots, but no vigars for them...

This Cd is so awesome...SONICFLOOd and Delirious? kickstarted worship's renewal in our country......I've been a fan of both sicne I first ehard them..back in Winter of 2000....my first Christian Cd was Offerigns that I ehard..then this Cd followed immediately....heckuva way to start yur musci exploration eh?

True Worshippers

I went to see the very first SonicFlood band, without Rick Heil, on tour during the Newsboys LLD tour....All I can say, is that band, definatly worshipped. They didn't try to lead, they didn't try to put on a show, they worshipped.... I also know that Jeff Deyo has a great heart to worship, and to see others worship as well....This CD in my openion, is what God used to start drawing us back to worship. It was for me anyways...and I agree, Delirious, is good to.... I commend this first SF, band, especially Jeff Deyo, for really having a heart for God...to me, that speaks so much more than the words themselves...he really does have a heart of worship...Praise Jesus

Talking

I haven't listened to this CD in a while, but I wanted to listen to one of the specific songs. I pulled it out... I had forgotten how awesome of a CD it is! I love Carried Away and especially Something about that Name. Great stuff, if you ever get a chance to pick it up, DO IT!!! I think that Kevin Max (from dc Talk) is part of the group in Something. Good stuff!

You really have to wonder why I'm responding to something so old...

Petra Praise came out in the late 80s and definately rocked the pants off of Sonic Flood...of course, it's also very very very 80s. Some don't like that sort of thing.

This CD is just great. Better than much of the "worship" music that followed it.

Holy One is an amazing song.

I love this CD, i love how there's a new spin on ordinary worship songs to freshen it up and allow u to fall in love with them all over again and help you focus on God in a different way.

Fantastic stuff.
