| On this cd its a whole new band replacing the original sonicflood band. I personally arnt really into this cd. It has way to many effects and wierd things like that...and they guys voice is kinda wierd...its like boy bandish vocal in a way. There are a few good songs on there (most of them are just redo's of older worship songs) but i dont really like the new written ones.

| It took me a while to get to like this cd, probably because it's softer than what I'm used to. After listening a few times, I started to like it better.
My favorites are:
Lord of the Dance
I Lift My Eyes Up
Write Your Name upon My Heart
Your Love
Holy and Anointed One
In Your Hands
All of them are good and worshipful, those are just my favorites. I like all the songs on this cd.

| This CD Sucks Man, this CD was way too produced! Too much eectronic stuff, Original SonicFLOOD was soooooo much better. Check out Jeff Dayo's new CD (Jeff Dayo was the leader of the old SonicFLOOD)

| This is a great cd!!!!!! Go check it out. While building on the original sound they take it in a slightly different direction. I loved the songs they wrote themselves like the title track Resonate to Write Your Name On My Heart to In Your Hands also they simply rock on the praise N worship standards like Fuel and Lord Over All.
I highly recommend this cd. |

| I really liked this cd.
This new band is great, as well as the old band was great.
It would not be fair for me to say one was better.
When I listen to it it puts me in a more worshipful mood.
I love the songs: Resonate, Write Your Name Upon My Heart, Lord Over All, and You Are The Holy One.
It is a softer album than SONICFLOOd. My Refuge is a great song from that one.

| My favs off this CD are Fuel and In Your Hands.
At first I really didn't care for it, I was ticked about the new soudna and it not beign what Iw anted..but its grown on me..SONICFLOOd is still super tight, their live show is still awesoem as ehck, been to 3 SONICFLOOd cocnert, one with Jeff Deyo and co and two for the rebuilt SFd....
The badn is good, they don't need all the effects crap they put on...all the gimmicks take away from how good the CD is...it lowers it actually....
And Jeff Deyo's CD SATURATE is 5 time sbetter than this CD though...

Well, I will recant some history given me by Jeff Deyo himself, adn soem I've aquired over time...
ORIGINAL ABND:
Otto Price- bass, founding member in 1998....was replaced on basss by Aaron Blanton in 1999. Otto does some producing and songwriting and works very closely with Jeff Deyo.
Jason Halbert- keys & programming, founding member in 1998, left in the split in 2000. Producer now.
Will Denton- drums, founding member in 1998, left in split in 2000, apparently has left professional music.
(these 3 guys were the abdn for DC Talk for about 3 years before forming SFd)
Jeff Deyo- lead vocals, original member, 1998-2000. Asked to leave the band shortly before the split. Has an awesoem solo career now.
Dwayne Larring- guiatrs, origial ember 1998-2000, left in split. He was the guitarist for SevenDay Jesus before joining SFd. He works with Halbert as a producer now.
Rick Heil- repalced Blanton on abss in late 1999, only meber to remain under the SONICFLOOd logo when they split up. Rebuilt the band, took voer elad vocals and sognwriting adn moved to secodary guitars. Rick wasn't an original member, but he was on the Live disc, their best one, so I included him.
Personally Deyo's solo career is truer to SONICFLOOd tradition adn sound, and better both musically and more worship oriented.
As to comments made about msdot of the sogns being covers..well, friend,Ig uess you neglected to notive that SONICFLOOd wrote as many of their own sogns under Deyo as they have under Heil.....don't look for a reason to knock them, jsut say you dont like them adn leave it there,..dont try to throw dirt in the grave when they are in the casket already.....sermon done.

| i still love the CD, always will... so there.
The original sonicflood sounded alright, but from a true music standpoint... it kinda sucked. alot of the keyboard/guitar harmony kinda things didnt go really well together. The guitar wasnt crisp sounding. Alot of the background music didnt go with the singing. Maybe it was just a crappy recording. Even so the music didnt flow very well. Dont get me wrong they were still probly really awesome in concert

| There are two camps so far..those who like the original SFd and think RESONATe is over-produced...and those who like the new SFd adn think the pink CD was over-produced and awkward...thank God camp number one is still in the majority though...
As far yur commetns about the musci...the original SFd had Halbert on keys and other noise junk...really they coulda ditched him, left off the effects and all the toher noise they added and gotten a guy with an electric piano and then used the same rest of the music......no offense to Mr. Halbert, but he drug SFd's musci donw a notch.
RESONATe is WAY over-proeduced as well. Allt her gimmicks and soundclip overdubs and the complicated spots where they multi-tracked portiosn of the song adn the timign of the vocals is odfdd....I've been sayign it for 2 years now, jsut get your isntruemtns, plug up your amsopand mics, record live in studio...leave all loops, programming,e tc out..jsut go with the sound you have lvie....
The old SFd live had no rival.......the enw does..but they coem as close as youc an to being the old SFd...
nitey,
-Cal The Ramblin Man

| i totally agree about the effects on the new cd, they coulda laid back on alot of em and still sounded great. Fact of the matter is that resonate just sounds cleaner and the music flows better than the pink cd. even without all the mass amounts of effects, i still would say its better.
I dont understand what youre sayin about the lyrics being off, got an example that i can listen to?
