I really enjoy this CD! I've been told by some that it sounds like a Civil War movie soundtrack. Maybe, but is that a bad thing? I've had this from the day it was released and it means more to me every time I hear it, especially after 9/11/01. Michael is a wonderful composer and his talents have been begging for an instrumental CD for far too long. He's given us an occasional glimpse of his instrumental prowess on other CDs, but this is the full package. Though it lacks lyrics, make no mistake, it is without a doubt a trademark Michael W. Smith album! It's about time Michael joined Phil Keaggy in the instrumental portion of cCm! Now if only the two would do more together than just a Christmas tune!
