Yeah! Pillar, all in all, is a great band. I picked up "Above" after buying "Fireproof" and absolutely loving it. Problem is, there seems to have been a shift in the groups style between CDs, maybe because of a guitarist change or just a general decision to move in another direction musically (the guitarist change might have been an effect rather than a cause in this scenario). Firproof is alot, ALOT harder and more seriously toned than Above. Tracks like "Galatic Groove" and "Originial Superman" from Above when compared to all the tracks from Fireproof are alot more light hearted in tone and lyrics; more like pary, fun music rather than "bump in your stereo to look tuff" music, lol. Overall, I like Fireproof over Above, the more serious stuff over the fun stuff, but that's a personal taste. It does take away from the CDs favoritism in my collection, but does not take away from the CDs musical quality, which is really, really good. I give Above a 8 and Fireproof a ten, just because that's my taste is all. I suggest anyone looking into Pillar to get both CDs if possible, just to round off the collection.
