You play really well!!! LoL I wish I had that talent I like that song...did you write it yourself? If so...can I get the chords/tab for it? It's really cool.

no i didn't write it

it was written by a local artist Joel Weldon

the song is called "Oh Lord Take my life" and it has become one of our churches favorites.

here's link to the words and a sample mp3

http://www.littlepeach.com/songs/takemylife.htm

that link has the actual sheet music available but as long as it's for your personal use i would think i could give you the tab i went off of.

oh and as long as you just use this for you and don't use the words for public use this is legal as i understand the website.

here are the chords i use.
E either 022400 or 079900
B either 024400 or 099(11)00
A either 002200 or 077900
C#m either 0(11)(11)900 or 0(11)(11)(13)00
F#m x0(11)(11)(10)0

i use all kinds of alternate chord formations on this song. the into i did was E, G#m, C#m7
the order we usualy do it in is chorus twice, Vs, chorus, bridge, chorus.

so...
chorus
E B A
Oh Lord, take my life as an offering
E B A
Let it be molded by Your own hand
C#m B A
Fill me with Your spirit and Your grace
F#m B A E
To quench a thirsty land.
verse 1
A B C#m A
Thank You for always being there
F#m B
Even after I've done You wrong
A B C#m A
Father please use my frail life now
F#m B A E
For when I am weak, I am strong.
bridge...
C#m A B
Take my praise, as a sacrifice to You
C#m A B
Take my will, as the least that I can do
A
You gave me hope, You gave me love
B C#m
You gave me breath that I might sing
A C#m
Now my life, Lord... My life is what I bring.
A B A E
Now my life, Lord... My life is what I bring.

I have a clip on my computer somewhere....it's not that great...it was just a rough track to show my producer what the song sounded like...I'd post one of the songs from my cd...but the producer isn't done with it and he wants his work on it to be a suprise to me before I tell hiom what changes I'd like...so give me a while to find it

Jared, thanks for the reply. Well, God has given everybody gifts. Yours is guitar, mine is my voice. You see, I try playing guitar. hahaha, that's a joke. Maybe one day I'll be able to do it. lol. Anyways, I'm sure your voice can't be that bad. Keep workin on it, you'll get it, and I'll keep workin on guitar and maybe one day I'll get that too! lol
