Engage This! - Pax217

PAX217 just released their new CD ENGAGE. “Most of the time when you think of the word ‘engage,’ you think of going to battle or going to war,” says lead singer and songwriter Dave Tosti. “But there’s a bunch of different definitions for it, and one of them is ‘to attract and hold the attention of, to win over and involve, to interlock or mesh with someone.’ Check out PAX217 and producer Philip Steir’s (No Doubt and Live) tight a fusion of metal and hip-hop with a unique message on ENGAGE today at http://www.forefrontrecords.com.

Talking

I have the new "Engage" cd and let me say this: It is TIGHT! It is their best album yet. (only two) It is more rock than last album and it is in your face about being an active Christian. I recommend this cd for everyone!

engage pax

I just got the new cd yesterday and instantly listened to it.
I must say the new cd is differant!

There is much more freestylin' hip hop stuff going on and heavier guitar. Personaly I enjoyed the first album more but this is an amazing second cd! no doubt.

Pax217....impressive with their first disc. A little Limp Bizket-esqe but awesome nonetheless. Then the second disc...totally avoids any kind of a sophomore slump and turns in a new direction. Jesse(guitar) goes off on every song, David(vocal) suddenly the guy knows how to deliver! (he edged on it last album but didn't make it all the time) he sings with force, screams with passion and rocks with conviction. They got a temporary drummer for this album (Skwid is finishing high school) and he is good, he adds a rock/metal element that they didn't have before. I like the variation.
What I'm trying to say is..go get this album! It's worth the $15 bucks!!!!
