#1 | | Guest | what do you think about t-bone? t-bone is this christian rapper if you have not heard of him and a really like him. But my brother says like all of his songs are unbiblical. I don't think they are and i think hes saying that just because he does not like him. If any of you have heard any of his songs pleas tell which ones you like and why. And also tell me if you think any of them are unbiblical,if you do i would like you to give me some scriptures about why u dont think its biblical.
Thanks

| haha, I thought you were talking about blues king T bone walker! I haven't heard the rap stuff, but hear it's decent. I have a friend in high school (back when I didn't care 2 much for christian music) tell me about them and seemed to like them a lot! I'm not really a rap person, but I might give it a listen

| at first i didnt think to highly of him, but i then i started seeing him more often like at festival con dios, and a lot of latenight christian shows. i think he's actually a pretty good guy. even though all his music isnt biblical doesnt mean anything, if it was all biblical many lost people wouldnt listen to it. at the store where i work, he sells pretty good, people seem to like him. he seems like a good christian too.....if hes faking it, its a good act.

| If you read the words It is not good at all.
Me- I do not think he is good for christians but it is a good outreach for inner-city people.

#7 | | Guest | T-Bone Well, I've listened to T-Bone. The only reason I liked his songs is because he sounds like Snoop Dog, and I used to listen to snoop a lot. I'm not into rap anymore (thank G-d). What I didn't like about tbone is that he talks about drugs, money, and sex A LOT. He keeps saying "i used to do this" "I used to do that" as if he misses it and wants to go back. He seems to still be a baby Christian, although he is getting a tainted form of The Word out on the street. As long as the lost listen to it, they may get saved, then hopefully they will attend church and read the Bible to get the real/whole truth.

| I think he's a great witness to non-Christians for sure. It would be a good thing for outreach workers to play because it doesn't sound like "uncool" Christian music. As for Christians listening to it, I think that it's no different from listening to someone's testimony--yeah, there are some references to things that we shouldn't be doing, but he's NOT commending those things and I think it's certainly markedly better than other rap artists.

| T-Bone seems pretty cool to me. I haven't listened to all his stuff, but he does this rap on the Audio Adrenaline cd that awesome! He's a brother in Christ, and I'm not going to judge him. I don't know him, I haven't talked to him, I'm not God. And its wrong to percecute our brothers and sisters in Christ, when they are probably doing more to reach the lost than yourself. So pull that big ol' tree out of your eye, and start workin on yourself.

| personally, i think that christian rap as a whole is extremely corny and tacky. it gives me goosebumps when i listen to it, because its so lame.
on the bright side, I used to listen to T Bone back in the day when my parents wouldn't let me listen to secular rap (i was but a wee one) and i totally think that his heart is in the right place. i thikn he is good for christians AND for outreach to non christians.
... but christian rap is still lame

| i heard that song by t-bone ride wit me and i never listened to him again. it is cool how he is trying to reach out to different types of people, but when you are working for God IT MATTERS A LOT if you lyrics aren't biblical. i only remember one part, he said something like he doesnt need to get high because he gets drunk off of the holy ghost. i've met some of these people that get "drunk off of the holy ghost" and it is some pretty scary stuff and i believe that when it comes to stuff like that we just need to stick to the bible |
