My Science teacher hates my guts, that's why my whole class is having to learn:

Photosyntheis vs. Respiration
Mitochondria vs. Chloroplast
and Electron Transport System

on their own, unfortunatly, we have no bio whizzes, so if anyone can, help, I'd be much obliged, and prayer would be totally awesome too.

Photosyntheis vs. Respiration

if i remember right those two are opposite processes. during the day a plant will be in photosynthesis, or making food and storing it. respiration on the other hand is the reverse process that converts the food(starches\glucose i think) back into energy that the plant can use to survive.

and what do you mean by "electron transport system"? i know a bit about electrons. not a lot but a little.

Does anybody know if the Electron Transport System in the chloroplast is made up of coupled reactions like it is in the mitochondrion.

We just finished that stuff up in biology...I understand it pretty good and have some good links to sites on the net...are you in grade 11? just wondering...let me know if you need any help.

Man, the only thing we learned about in bio that I actually recognize is respiration and photosynthesis. respiration, is to provide the body with oxygen, where as photosynthesis is like a plants way of eating. it is gaining energy to use for things such as reproduction. that is putting it simply, and I hope it helps .

say, did you have to learn about evolution in bio?
