Frowning.

I'm in a lousy mood. I'm stressed out & I haven't yet taken the time to figure out why... I've been very short with my family & am annoyed at myself because of that.

My reason to frown... I got a citation today for not having my seat belt on. I actually have a story for this too... In Ohio they have random car inspections, and yesterday I got pulled over to get my car checked. So I pulled over, and before my car came to a "complete" stop, I took my seatbelt off, so the officer said that since I didn't have my seatbelt until I was at a complete stop, she "had" to give me a $53 dollar ticket. :kmad: Needless to say I was NOT very happy, but other than that I'm doing GREAT :ksmile:

Today's reason to cry
I was in my first-ever accident today. It was totally my fault. And my car took the worst of it. I was on my way to a choir performance--singing at a wedding. Some days...

Thanks... actually, I got hugs from ((and cried on the shoulder of)) one of the guys in choir who annoys me most. That was kinda funny.

Ummm.. I thought I was in a hurry. I thought I was running late & needed to buy black nylons. I turned the corner, didn't notice the car ahead of me ((not in the turning lane, but with blinker on)) stopped. When I did see her, I slammed on the brakes & tried to steer around her. Too late, I hit the rear, driver side of her car. She was ticked off 'cause her car was new-ish... but all she had was scratches. After she saw how badly my car was dinged up & how I was shaking ((and I started crying. just a couple tears. I was trying to be brave.)) she sorta loosened up.

Not totalled. Definately not that bad. Umm... it'll cost a pretty penny to fix it. I may have lost that headlight... the bumper is kinda falling off. Someone thought it might be riveted back on, but Grampaw doesn't think that's likely...

So-o many blessings. So many things to be thankful for. But I'm still shaken.
