| Well, one reason i don't really like hockey that much, is that i can't keep up with the guys names. I know guys like Hull, Modano, Newuindike, Hejduk, Yzerman. But most of the other guys out there have foreign names (nothing against foreign people). Its just harder to keep up with their names when the sport is played during the mavs time. I ALWAYS watched EVERY game when the Stars would get near the cup. Thats exciting hockey. I will probably watch a game or two of the finals, but i just don't know who to root for cause i don't know any of the guys. I DON'T like Hasek, i like Hull though. hahahaha, anyways...

Mike Bibby is one of my top five favorite players in the west. Webber is cool. Vlade is cool (and funny!) bobby jackson is tite.
anyway, i don't think it is betrayal. and I REALLY DISLIKE the lakers and i think that the kings have the best chance to beat them so who else should i root for?
MAN!!! I DISLIKE RICK FOX MORE THAN ANY OTHER PLAYER FOR ANY SPORT!!! i might like the lakers a little bit more if he was on another team.

Darcy Tucker from the Maple Leafs
Owen Nolan from the Sharks
Derian Hatcher from the Stars

I think my favorite name right now is Vaclav Nederost. It just rolls off the tongue, don't you think?

Yeah, Fox is pretty ridiculous. I have to admit though, I find it funny when he's mouthing at other players to try and get into their heads or get them kicked out of the game. I don't condone it, but I can't help but laugh. |

As for the Mavs... HA. I told you all waaay back at the beginning of the playoffs that they wouldn't pull it out.
If the Celtics don't win it all (for nostalgia's sake) I say "GO KINGS". And don't think I'm just jumping on the bandwagon... I've liked Sac-town since Spudd Webb was playing in the old ugly jerseys, and they've been one of my favorites since drafting my boy Anthony Johnson (now Jason Kidd's backup) in 97.
Hope you all enjoyed my rant In the words of Linda Ritchman (SNL's Coffee Talk)... "Mavs go home... discuss". |
