It usually depends on the song for me, but most of the time people tell me I sound like Steven Curtis Chapman. I think I sound more like Jakob Dylan from the Wallflowers. I dunno -- I just try to sing and not sound terrible.

Yeah I can play the guitar. I know all about virtuosos and trembalos and arpeggios. I can do it all. I can play your basic rhythm guitar, like. jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga JAH JAH jiggidy jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga JAH JAAH. You know, something like that. I can also play some pretty hott lixx, too. You know, the kind that are just way up high on the tiny strings and you mash your fingers on 'em. meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley meedley MEEEEEEEEEEE. Yeah, yeah And then Strong Mad comes in on his bass and he's like dou dow da dou dou dow da dou dow dow dow dow dow dou. And then the Cheat comes in with his keyboard and he's like boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boop boo and then I'm like "And the dragon comes in the NIIIiiiiIIIiiiiIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIiiiIIGH

Oh yeah.

My blog that sometimes goes a long time without me posting, but I still like it . . .

People say I have three different tones of voice when I sing. It is either Brett Detar (The Juliana Theory), Drue Bachman (My Friend Stephannie), or Ronnie Martin (Joy Electric). I know they sound pretty different from each other, but I see the similarities greatly.
I have returned.

Well a girl at bible school with me said I sounded like a bird! I think she meant it as a compliment but I was offended.

Then someone who was in love with me said I sung 'like an angel'!

Ah well, don't quite think I'll make a rocker!

"I get to go to lots of overseas places, like Canada" -Britney Spears (when asked about the best part of being famous) {goes to show you how smart she is, eh?}

"Punk, in essence, is being homeless, having only $10 in your pocket when a friend comes up and asks you for change, you give him $7. That is what punk really is. Unity. Loyalty. Love. Its not sneering on others because theyre mohawk isnt a foot tall. Its not anti-socialism. Its loving your friends more than yourself. Thats what makes a punk. If you are a punk, youre a punk. You dont grow out of it. Some people dress like a punk, but arent. Some people dont dress like a punk and are. This wasnt written to tell people "if youre not this way, youre not a punk". That would make me no better than a facist. This was written in an attept to get people to realize to look past the capitalist haze into what "PUNK" really means. Every thing has a meaning, and everyone is united."

Also, I've been TOLD that I sound like Jason Wade from Lifehouse. Probably because I listen to them so much that they rubbed off on me. Hmmm...dunno.

i know a person in my church.. that sings EXAAAAAACTLY like the lady in 'Matt Redman - Arms of my Father' .. and i mean EXACTLY, every little accent, maybe i'll do a recording later.

and another person can sing exactly like the lead singer in Delirious.... especially in 'Trading my Sorrows' and 'History Maker', it's amazing how he can get every little detail, since he adds those little breaths when he says 'is' in history maker.

but really.. i can't sing, though i really do wish i could.

Well.... I've been told I sound like Enya... you know that celtic sound...... then the other day , someone told me I should try for Opera...needless to say I was horrified at the thought. Then also the otherday someone said I sound country....again I refused to believe!!!!

Otherwise I have sung the song "breath" on the Vinyard Hungry C.D I think it is because I sounded most like the woman who sings it and then the "vinyard music 12 London", the very last song on the album "O Jesus mine"

I was told I was an alto when I was in the choir in school but when I joined the worship team when I was 16 I found out I could sing soprano!!! I perfer that now to alto anyday!!!!

Otherwise the most often thing is that my voice is very unique, unlike anyone's heard:ktongue: :kroll: :kblush

Hmm... alright I have a lot to say here! First off, to answer the question of who I sing like....I've been told Jennifer Knapp and/or Ginny Owens....I always thought more of Jennifer Knapp, but that's only on a few songs. Ginny Owens I can see, too. On top of that, A) to H.M.Murdock, who said eh can sing like Mac Powell: I want to hear that sometime!! Mac Powell has the dreamiest voice! (hopeless romantic here...lol) B)to thelitguy, who said he can sound like Brett Detar: how awesome!! That guy has a great voice and I love their songs, esp. The Bradley. C) to Euchre, who said he sounds like David Crowder: lol I'm jealous! I love David Crowder and think he has one of the coolest voices around...he sounded good in Passion, and he sounds even better on his own, esp. in Make A Joyful Noise! And, last but not least, D) to Brandon: thanks for putting the coolest poem from LOTR in your sig! Alright, I'll shut up now....
