Creative Projects

C'mon people! Share your creativity so other non-creative people can use it!

Here's an idea I'm using for a project this year:

(This works best with novel characters if you're doing a presentation on a novel(s))

Ok, this is so great because it envolves the class as well (bonus!)

You write down different lines for people in the class to say on the backs of separate cards (on card per character, also one card per person - hint: you don't have to use the whole class, just a few people is good).

Attach a string to the cards so the people can wear them around their necks.

Have the character's name on the front of each of the cards.

Make sure you also have the order written down in which they are to say their lines.

ALSO...this is very important...don't JUST get the people to read their lines. Make sure you include actions! That's what makes it fun!

And.....VOILA! You have actors/actresses acting out a scene from your novel or a potential scene in real life (like i'm going to be doing for my history project)

It's loads of fun for everyone! hehe

I HIGHLY recommend you use this at least once in your highschool careers

Ok, that's enough from me, now share your presentation/projects secrets/ideas!

Make it edible.

In 8th grade, French, we had to construct a miniture replica of a French momument... I made some angel food cake, and cut it and stacked it into the shape of "Le Louve", which is a pyrimidal glass museum in France, and then frosted it with butter cream frosting and piped the window frames on with blue frosting.... yum. The class didn't care about the facts, but they loved the replica...especially when they got to eat it.
