| Well.... we go camping every summer but I don't really have a passion for it. It's fun... it's a nice getaway... but not really a passion. Plus I usually go camping for the beach and not to just camp... yeah. |

My family uses the RV for the fridge to keep our perishables from going bad as opposed to a cooler resulting in soggy stuff and bedding since my mother cannot get down on the ground. We do everything else outside, cook, sit around and talk we don't do much inside except sleep, there is not any room to do anything. I won't say that we don't run the air conditioner because on hot days it keeps our long haired dogs from getting heat stroke, and sometimes I think that camping in a tent is actually more comfortable than in an RV no stray bars in your side when laying on the ground that you have cleared. Also if you were to open up the stove or microwave in my parents RV you will find that we hardly use them for what they were designed for unless it was for storage of soda, bread, chips, cookies, and candy. Our meals usualy come out of a dutch oven or a charcol grill followed by a marshmallow roast over the campfire.

P.S. Lasagna cooked over a campfire beats it cooked any other way.

| river camping Camping rocks!! During the summer, we (my friends and I) camp out at least once a month. But it's where we camp that makes it special. I love to load the boat with the supplies and head up the Wisconsin River for a night or two on the sandbars. There's nothing like it!! We usually play a lot of games on the natural beaches of the sandbar and then at night we play cards and fish by securing our poles and then attaching bells to the ends so we can hear when we have bites. It's a total riot!! There always something cooking on the campfire and everybody has great time. |
