| Hey.
I've got a 314kce (2000 XXV ann.), 955 (2000), k14e (2000, with englemann spruce...btw if anyone get a koa guitar NEVER get koa on the top, it's a waste and it sounds horrid), 914ceBR (Just got it in the other day, off of ebay for 4500...a STEAL. I found a rare limited from the same year with no cutaway, custom, for about 6000...jeez), a BBT (2000/2001, with lrbaggs dual source PU), and a martin keb mo signature (a great koa guitar). All my Taylors (or baby's as i call them) have englemann spruce on top.
I'm not in that much debt hehe. I've paid everything off except the BR i just got.
Yes I'm proud I could afford all these great guitars...i'm not being a braggard.
Anybody else have any limiteds?

| Hey,about that langjhan,I was just kiddin' around.I think the thin- tipped cutaway is a bit atrocious, but just listen to "Show Me Your Glory".I'm guessing that that is the Langjhan, and you can't argue with sound like that.
How do I like the 614 ce???Blasphemy!!!Such evil words I cannot hear!!Must-plug-ears!!!No seriously, this is my favorite guitar I have ever played.I played lotsa taylors and expensive guitars before i chose this one.It has EXACTLY the sound I love, and in many ways it's easier to play than an electric. The hybrid mike/piezo Fishman Stereo Blender preamp is tasty icing on the cake. It's quilted maple back and sides makes it the most beautiful guitar in my Tri-County area.My only complaint is its size.Because I'm only fourteen, and not the biggest guy around,it has a tendency to dwarf me on-stage.

| I like the K14 a lot...I wish i could've gotten no cutaways on any of my taylors but custom built taylors are so expensive...on some it's just worth it...the 914eBR is so expensive...i would've had to sell my 314kce and my k14e to get it.
I like the K series...though getting it with Red cedar will be very hard considering the only options you have for top wood is englemann and sitka...i'm sure they could build you one but the only guitars they have that have red cedar are the 7 series.
I like the 614 a lot too. It' too bright though.
I'd rather play the 514 it's nice and warm, a pseudo 714 hehehe
I saw a limited black 614 it was so nice.
expensive though.

| My 614ce is bright but I like it. I do like the mellow sound but the 614ce has a great "stage" sound. I love the electronics!!

| yeah, I called Taylor, and they said that I could put a cedar top on it for no charge...it it would take 6 weeks to build the guitar ...oh well, it's well worth the wait

| switching tops on a Taylor is easy...you can do almost any combination that you want. Some switches have an upcharge, but some don't. It's the same with ordering a higher grade of wood for your guitar. Taylor will do almost anything.

| Hey Aaron, just thought I'd let you know that I've been wanting to get a Taylor REALLY bad lately I still LOVE my Larrivee but I think a Taylor would be a nice addition to my collection.
I'm thinking about maybe a Grand Auditorium.
