its making me a little bit mad...

all the booing of national anthems??? its retarted if you ask me - especaially over a GAME!!! (I'm refering to, first the basketball game between Toronto and Detroit and then a lot of the Hockey games too)

seriously its pissing (am i allowed to say that) me off...I really dont want anyone booing my anthem - and I know that we're doing it too (but only cuz you started it :P {jokes guy!})

anyways, does anyone else have thoughts on this?

I think that it just shows utter disrespect to boo a national anthem. I can somewhat understand booing a team or an athlete/coach, but why take it out on the National Anthem>??? It just shows how some people refuse to think of others instead of just themselves.

ok, here's a simpler explanation. He said "my" raptors, referrimg to the Raptors being his team the same way i would say, "My team the mavs.." Its just a phrase to point out which team you like. Hopefully that helped:ksmile:

Torontoians are more polite than i thought ( and i AM torontonian!)
like today's hockey game (WHICH WE WON!!! we're going to play OTTAWA...ottawa..ha!)...i mean the cheers were louder for the Canadian anthem...but the american anthem was NOT booed.

and compared to the new york game, the fans - sitting behind the penalty box kept egging on darcy tucker..who is a pretty viloent player...it was really rude if you ask me.

i dont have anything agains new york...just the few stupid fans who decided to be rude to canada.
