| Or Not
I’d like to see you again,
Or not.
I want to get to know you better,
Or not.
I think we might become friends,
Or not.
I guess I should send this letter,
Or not.
Maybe I’ll tear it up, throw it away,
Or not.
I know I ought to send it to you,
Or not.
Save it and send it another day,
Or not.
Not sure whether I want it to get to you,
Or not.

| Once I was a camel,
Now I am a lion . . .
now I lie and wait to become a child
Wisdom stolen from the mouth of one
I respect
but respect has no taste
is it so noble to be an outsider?
maybe one day, I will submit
and become the child
accepting, and loving
but never burdened
and never compelled to lie
but for now,
I worship what I abhor
and fall on my knees before
senseless sentimentalism
unexeplained fundamentals
just as illogical as before
but with twice as much to

| Slip into your eyes
And see the sun rise for a change
Creep into your heart
And feel the rhythm untangle me
By encountering you
We've distorted the untruth
Cursed our ugliness with beauty
Self destructed all our hate
Slip into my wounds and feel the sutures disappear
Steal into my lesions and taste the stitches tear away
I do protest these boundaries
These schismic barriers
Maybe if you could taste with my tongue
Respire with my lungs
Burn with my skin
Wail with my tears
Prod with my fingers
Splinter with my bones
Then we could destroy our dischord NEW WORD: "in vogue"

| grey and orange streaks
encompass the ash covered battlefield
climbing the gate
to besiege wisdom . . .
with the bodies of my
forerunners
lying incinerated around me
chipping, brittle
I break as I climb
childlike, milky skin
becoming another gargoyle on the wall
overcoming illusions
and besieging truth . . .
killing my nursing mother

| Truant
It seems I have a list of chores
Some things that I am forced to do
Some that make me ride a horse
Some that make me wait till 2.
I don't want to do those things
I don't think I will.
I'm just going to play and sing.
And reside upon the truant's hill.
Next word-- Peppermint

| swirls of red and white
coloring every image in my mind
in succession
always spiraling towards the bottom
giddy, giggling, pepperment candycane
suddenly brutal
when I am stuck in your teeth
can you lick off the red
and leave me a white, pure
cane? I cant remember ever
being pure anything
and still I always spiral
in red and white streaks
to the bottom
still wondering if
its red on white
or white on red
because it is all swirling in my mind
blurring into reality
spiraling to the bottom |

| Gel describes the tambre of something
Gel ecrypts the tambre of some things
Gel reminds me the taste of green
Gel conflicts with the interest in me.
I used to use gel.
Now I use foam.

| POLYNOMIAL
The sum of me and you and all our fears
Multiplied by our hesitation
Equals nothing more than a habitual love
Don't fear what is normal
This offspring is our polynomial
An exact replica of our infinite love
Our child is more than an expression
Be his omnipresent integer
And when our lives become complex fractions
Be my coefficient;
Complete me
And I will complete you
This algorithic child
is an answer to our problems, and answer to our prayers
A paradox of infinity:
A family of all families that do not contain themselves-
Do we contain ourselves?

| Spinning the world on it's head,
"I will be back" is what he said,
Before the swordsman came behind,
And departed him from life.
The antichrists of the world, they be,
The enemies of you and me,
As Children of God we are made to fight,
Against the dark and brooding night.

Barbecue
I was
I was eating
Eating things
Taste, moist, filling
Filling my soul
The food of blues
The blues of eating
Sauce spread,
Dominating my shirt.
I will never eat again
For now I am full.
