I lived in GR till 8th grade, then we moved to Cadillac and I lived there until I graduated. Since then, I've been all over, and I've settled in Chicago, but we still have a cottage on Lake Michigan outside of Whitehall/Montague.

I'm in Canton, about 25 min. west of Detroit, where the home builders are going crazy. Might call it Sprawlville. We've lived here for about 8 years after several in Troy. Before that, it was the wrong side of the tracks in Howell and Novi. Lived in Mich. all my life..

funny you should mention that. grand rapids is the farthest west i've ever been. i know it's sad but i'm totally serious. never been to cali, or even chicago for that matter.
