| Photography! Ok guys, why is it that this is the visual arts section and there is no booming thread on photography? That's not right. So, I'm here to start the new trend. Who likes photography? This is really for just about anyone and anything related to photography, but I have a question. What skills are needed to be a good photographer? For me, it seems like most of the skills are just knowledge. Like, film speed, shutter, all that stuff rather than any real skill. But what are all your thoughts on that?

| I think the pic is good. I like how the flowers are in focus, but everything else is blurry. I really know nothing about photography, except how to push the button to take the picture Here's a pic i took this past winter of my backyard that i think looks pretty good, almost like a post card Lemme know what you think.

| I think you did a great job on that picture. I like it =) I think that that little stump or bench thing to the left of the tree gives the picture something |

| It's actually some wood piled up in a small firepit that we never use. Here's another pic of my backyard. That's our shed on the left and you can see the wood pile again on the right.

#11 | | baby vending machine | My camera isn't anything special (('course someone said to me the other day that that is like anything... if you're really good, you don't need a great instrument. works with music too)) but I just recently got into church photography. I find it's a great stress release and just alot of fun... makes for the odd funny look, but I get those anyhow...
