Yea, I like photography. That's a good picture. I think that photography to a certain extent depends on knowledge, but it also takes some creativity and artisticness to think up what might look good, and then how to photograph it/what angle to make it interesting.

Here is a question for you guys - how would you define photography? It's a whole lot more than pushing a button - so, what is your definition?

I think that mine would be this Photography: the art of capturing the essence of a moment in time. That's the best I can think of right now, what do you guys think?

Keep the pictures comming by the way!

So really, "What is the air speed velocity of an unlaiden swallow?"
It's quite simple:
Drag on a body in a fluid is:
D = 1/2 (Cd*pi*r^2*rho*Vo^2) Cd = coefficient of drag of the swallow pi = 3.1415... r = radius of bird cross-section (approximating as a circle) rho = viscosity of air Vo = velocity For steady state flight, D (drag) = T (thrust), so:
------------------------------
| Vo = sqrt(T/Cd*pi*r^2*rho) |
------------------------------

Thanks Daniel, you took the words out of my mouth. I really like the concept of drawing with light and using knowledge of light to do photography. I've done some playing with blacklight, and I like to play in the 'dark' too. Some examples: (more on my site...look up pictures then photography)
