| Hi friends,
I do write songs and compose it,
But I dont have a team to play it and record it.
I like to publish my songs,
Could some one suggest some idea?
Also how can I get a copyright for my songs ?

| I have no idea...
I'm sure if you bring up your questions in the General Chat area, there will be some knowledgable people in there.
In fact, I'm sure someone in there will know how to do it. They're all acomplished artists (that's what I get outta their responses and their knowledge of the music arena they're in).
Sorry I wasn't much help.

| Well, what you've written is technically already copyrighted. anything you write is copyrighted as soon as it is written. to get it recognized by the government as copyrighted, you gotta go through the copyright bureau or something like that, but legally, if you wrote it and have proof that you did, it's copyrighted.

| The last I checked, the copyright office charges a fee of $30, and that can be for one song/poem/whatever or a group of them. I would imagine that there's a limit on the amount you can copyright at one time, but that's above my paygrade as the most I've ever done at one time is 15-16 lyric sheets. Not a bad price for future insurance purposes.
Keep in mind also that the old urban legend of mailing something to yourself is basically a waste of time. I've had several entertainment attorneys tell me the same thing...it's not going to hold up in court. And when you compare the costs of litigation and attorney fees, $30 is a measly amount to spend on insurance. That amounts to what, 13 or 14 songs if you mailed them certified to yourself?
Anyway, that's my .02.
