| Non-noisy ways of exercising indoors? Until my dad finally brings the exercise bike home from his parents' house, I need to find some other way of exercising indoors without angering the neighbours downstairs (apartment life, oh joy). Any suggestions? |

| push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups (There's kind of a pattern goin' on here. Anything with 'up's' passes.)
That's mostly strength training tho.
hmmm, maybe like a work out video or something? (more power to ya if you can stand to do them)

| Lie down on a comfortable piece of carpeting in you apartment, and lift your leg straight up, this works the hamstring and gets it really strong. Do this about 20 times on each leg. Then do about 3 repetitions of 10 pushups. then you might want to do some crunches. Again, lie on the mat and get in a horizontal position like you would sit in a chair. Then just lift your midsection to you knees. Do this about 3 repetions of 25. If you still want to exercise after this, maybe get some freeweights(if you have access to some) and do some arm curls and lunges. If you do have freeweights and want some more exercises, just let me know and i'll get you some more.

| try these, they r called toe raisers (well they may b called something else but that's wat my dad called them.
this works best on a step, but if you don't have one in your apartment, u can go it on the flat floor as well. put your feet parallel to each other about shoulder length apart and lock your knees. then raise yourself up onto your toes as high as you can and hold it for a couple of seconds before you let your heels back down. the important thing is to keep your legs as straight as you can. once done w/ those, point your toes together and heels apart and repeat. then put your heels together and toes out and do it again. doing these 3 different way works 3 different muscles. do about 7 or so each way your first time, then gradually add 1 more or so every other day. do NOT rush how many of these you do a day, you can seriously hurt your calf muscles.
hope this helps!

| there are also pushups done while you are doing a handstand, but they are quite difficult and would b quite noisey until you get the hang of it. |
