Um. I don't have a clue where you wanted this. Any ideas?

I have friends who are all about writing music and they blow me away - it doesn't come to me. I can't just sit down and write a song and play it... if one comes, it's spontaneous and I probably couldn't repeat it for anyone - at times it's frustrating b/c they want to know if I've written any songs lately or anything and my answer is always no... does it just mean that the Spirit hasn't gifted me in that area, or is it something you learn?

i sing/dance/write spontaneous songs, and i don't perform or show other poeple.... yet. i haven't been given an opportunity. i'd love to do both. i don't know if i am giften in this area or not, but i'm not worried. God holds me, he'll work it out.

i was talking to my sister in law a while ago about intercessory prayer, and she said "but if you aren't called to do it, don't, cos you'd be taken the gift/area of another person". i guess we have to be careful.

I'm not sure what this thread is about, but....

I play in the worship band at my church, and being where God wants you musically is as easy as being led by the spirit in a worship service.

Otherwise, I have no clue what's going here.
