RIP Ruth Bader Ginsberg

One of the most prolific Justices of the Supreme Court has just passed at the age of 87.

Rest in Power, RGB, an iconic Jewish, woman who did her duty to pass judgement on cases important to the US.

This is such a crushing loss. Justice Ginsburg was an absolute titan for women's rights, and a beacon of leadership for women in the legal profession. May her memory be a blessing.

I've gone through and deleted all off-topic discussion. If members wish to talk about the various facets of what "women's rights" means, or other such topics, another thread can be made and that discussion taken there. Regardless of whether one disagrees with Justice Ginsberg's policies, she's passed away, and that's what this thread is about. Respectful discourse about the legacy she left (good or bad) is fine -- argument about irrelevant details about the finer points of wording used by thread contributors is not.
I am most definitely a guy.

Also want to add that we have a longstanding rule here that when someone dies and you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. This is not the time or place.

I really appreciate her hard, tireless work and am glad that her suffering from illness is at an end. may she rest in peace, and her legacy be ever remembered.
