New Vintage Gibson Pedal

Hey yall, guess what I just got? A pedal from 1967! It is a Maestro Rhythm and Sound and is pretty sweet. Here is a demo of it in action.

I am having some difficulties with it, though, and am not sure what to do.

When I have it plugged in, some of the effects seem to work very weakly. Like, they sorta work, but everything is toned down, and some of them aren't allowing any sound at all to come through. I don't think this thing has been used in a few decades. Basically, it had been sitting in Alyssa's papa's workshop for so long that he couldn't quite remember what it did!

Should I just take it apart and spray some contact cleaner on all of the switches and give it a little bit of scrub down?

I know my description is rather vague.... Maybe I will take a video of it in action when I finally get moved into our new place...
