Microphone for home recording

Hi guys,

I want to buy a microphone for home recording. Helix has a microphone (XLR) input and as I am planning to use it as audio interface for recording guitar + vocals.

Any suggestions? I know nothing about microphones...

There is that classic Shure. I'm trying to remember the exact model number. Maybe 50? Idk.

I dont have any ideas about recording guitar. But, I do know that the Blue Snowball is pretty good and affordable for voice.

Yeah, I have added an SM58 and an SM57 to my wishlist. Maybe in a month or two I will order it.

In these days I feel there is a lot of risk of loosing my job, so trying to keep some money in my account in case...

Here are two, I just bought for our podcast set-up. Works great on the budget end.
