| So far so good in Australia. A few confirmed cases, but no super serious outbreaks. I think they shut down a couple of schools for isolation.
We're also leading the run on toilet paper. I honestly thought it hadn't affected my small town, but the supermarket I use has been out of it for the last week. I bought my replacement pack just before the mess.

| Haven't got it yet. A bunch of local activities have been cancelled. Good ol' Gov. Cuomo banned all gatherings of 500 people or more as of 2:30pm today. Two cases confirmed in Monroe County today, and I was just up there, so.... |

| Confirmed cases in my county and a public school student. Governor Newsom just issued some similar executive orders as New York. I'm a public school teacher awaiting news on what school will look like over the next few days. I spent the weekend sick with flu symptoms and have a remedial cough now. Half of my students have the same issues.

| The Principal just said there's a likelihood the school will close at some point soon. So I might not have to do much while it's closed...

| Several confirmed cases in the Des Moines area. Patrick’s office is closing for the rest of the month, as are most public schools. We have 6 rolls of toilet paper. I did buy extra formula for the baby, although my local Target had plenty. TP was completely gone and hand soap was running low. Smh. |

| We installed a bidet a year ago. You and your TP problems are no concern of mine!
But seriously, I hope everyone stays safe. I'm hoping that things don't go too crazy with how all over the place the USA seems to be through all of this. I'm hoping my friends in China, Taiwan, and Korea are fine but I haven't heard much from them for a while.

| I seriously don’t see why the fuss about toilet paper.
After living in Fiji, paper was a luxury. |

| We have one of the highest, if not the highest per capita of sick people. But we also have the highest number of sick without any casualties yet.
The whole country is in lockdown for at least 2 weeks.

| Not doing too badly here in Virginia. Our governor just closed all public schools in the state for at least the next two weeks. Working in public safety myself, I know I certainly can't telework, so I'm looking forward to that... I'm having to decide how proactive I'll be since I have an immuno-suppressed wifey at home (yay pregnancy!). It's been pretty wild to see all the major closings of multi-billion dollar industries, such as MLB, NHL, etc. I'm glad that all of these organizations are taking this threat seriously. I think it's pretty easy to downplay it as "oh, it's only dangerous if you're old," but I think that's pretty crappy, since old people are people, too! If a ton of us younger folk get it mildly but that causes the deaths of thousands of elderly people, then that's a hot pot of garbage. But I'll step off of my soapbox... |
