Midlife gift

My father is turning 50 in a few months and I want to buy him a gift and have it sent to him.

Any suggestions?

my brother bought my dad a really nice pocket watch and had it engraved with a beautiful sentiment for his last birthday. my dad LOVED it. he doesn’t use it as a daily timepiece but my brother wanted to get him something that would become an heirloom.

I did the same thing. Dad loved it. Or, buy him a house or a car. Depends on the size of your budget.

Send him a box in which will be a envelope that reads, "Error 404, gift not found."
Inside that envelope, of course, will be a substantial gift card with a note that reads, "But maybe this can help you find it."
