What does this mean?

What does the following phrase mean?

"not very light in character"

Or better yet, what does light in character mean?

I heard it used yesterday, but don't know what it means.

EDIT: Was used to describe a person

I would think of one or more of these:

  • Bubbly, gregarious
  • Does not get burdened by worries easily
  • Pale
  • Not heavy

No particular order, but determined by context.
