Video for an event I'm doing with my godfather

Hey y'all,

I figured the wider viewership of CGR might be interested in seeing this. This is a promotional video for an event I'm doing with my godfather, Fr. Kaleeg (who's a priest), next week where we're going out to a stream that's had salmon come back to it recently after eighty years (!!!) and calling down Almighty God's blessing upon it.

I'm really impressed with this video. We had a videographer friend of mine who is a Roman Catholic do this for us pro-bono.

I don't get to talk in the video, but you do see me receiving Fr. Kaleeg's blessing, kissing his hand, then taking the icon of Christ as we process along a trail with it. You also see me standing on a bridge and making the sign of the cross on myself.

Enjoy!

Lo! How a rose e'er blooming from tender stem hath sprung,
Of Jesse's lineage coming, as seers of old hath sung,
It came a flower bright, amid the cold of winter,
When half-spent was the night.

Isaiah t'was foretold it, the rose I have in mind,
With Mary we behold it, the Virgin Mother kind,
To show God's love aright, she bore to us a Saviour,
When half-spent was the night.

O flower whose fragrance tender with gladness fills the air,
Dispel with glorious speldour the darkness everywhere,
True man, yet very God! From sin and death He saves us,
And lightens every load.

Just watched.

Thanks for sharing.

I know we have talked about this before, but I am so glad that you guys are being given a part in this event. It is tragic that so many streams of Christianity have neglected such a crucial element of the faith. Such a public theological stand is amazing and needed.

Also, about the video itself:

This was really well shot and edited. How long did it take to film?

Very professional.

And, nice cameo!
