My favorite chrisitian drummers are:

Ted Kirkpatrick of TourniqueT - the guy is an awesome drummer and he's really technical. check out the song whitewashed tomb

Jordan Mancino of As I Lay Dying - so tight he makes tighty whiteys want to change their name to loosy whiteys. song displaying his abilities: 94 hours

Dave Hawk (David Husvik) of Extol - His style and rapid fire attack are his strongest attributes. His display of offbeat and seriously insane grooves are an inspiration to drummers all over the world!

That's it that's all!
God Bless

Never mind, the guy in falling up is a good drummer, but Tim Barrett in disciple is better.

I've heard that the really fast double bass in the breakdown was programmed.

Its electronically triggered to make it sound "better". I find the Frail Words Collapse album gets annoying because of this. Nonetheless he is still playing it.

lester estelle from pillar. get their new ep and check out frontline as well as the other live songs. also, if you've ever seen them live you'll know he plays some incredible stuff. all on a single bass pedal too...

Another vote for Vinnie Colaiuta! When I went to the Christian Musicians Summit last November in Redmond, WA, all the drummers were going to see and hear him. So, when I heard him, I knew why drummers hold him in high esteem. And when producers are looking for a drummer on an album, guess who they call!

I think it comes down two drummers Lester of pillar and Lauren Barlow any drummer who can sing and play that well has my respect. I was fortunate enough to see both of them play and well both are amazing. If i was allowed to pick any drummer for my band i would say lauren would take the cake so to speak

Actually the newsboys did that live it was an amazing show how ever peter furler was oringinally a drummer so i don't think they really had to do as much practicing as you would think

bestest Christian Drummer

I have to go with Vinnie for now. These younger guys, although talented, can't compete with the masters. Now,,, what do you think defines a Master Drummer? (anyone who doesn't play Pearl) (kidding)
