I'm not a big fan of the band, but Jeff from Big Daddy Weave is extremely talented... he can hold his own with alot of 'big name' drummers.

Lauren Barlow of Barlowgirl

On the CD she sounds like another drummer but live she will literally tear a drumset apart.
But time someone mentioned her. She plays as hard if not harder then any male drummer (or pretty much any drummer) I have ever seen. She is crazy! I agree, I saw them live back in March, she like tore her set apart man.

Also, my drum teacher, Dave Ezzell. He is probably...I dont wanna say one of the best drummers I have ever heard, but hes prety darn close. I mean compared to guys like Neil Pert and Terri Bozzio I mean, he aint to far behind them. Hes been playing for 40 years now, and is awsome.

Then I also agree with alot of you guys to, Lori Peters rocks.

I still can't get over the fact that your set is so much prettier than mine.

Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater is the best is my opinion, and he is Christian (I remember him saying so in an interview I read). He comes up with so many beats that are just different from everything else. Not to mention that his sense of humor makes him very entertaining to watch live. I saw the "Live from Budukon"(sp?) dvd last night, and his duet with Jordan Ruddess (keyboardist for DT) was simply amazing.

As for a drummer for a Christian band, I would say Lori Peters. That's some good stuff.

I agree that one of the best is Luke Munns from Hillsong, but if you want to know a very good and blessed latin drummer you have to hear Jorge Mata from Costa Rica, if you want to know about him, enter www.centrodeadoracionfamiliar.net
