anybody here a manga artist?

heyhey! calawen here[newbie, i know], and i draw major anime. i have loved the thing since i was two and i am planning on majoring on it (animation) and making major movie productions. the blasted darn thing is that hardly any(even art colleges!)have that major! it's very disapointing. but anyway, i draw my own stuff, i have made up about fifteen different stories, but only illustrated about five. i have 2 comic books completed, hopefully to be published and copyrighted in the next few months. i draw a lot of science fiction stuff, similar but not at ALL like sailor moon. i've just come to realize how retared that series is. i mean all of them actually have a bit of retardency in them, but sm is waaaaay down there. i really like Rose of Versailles, Ouke no Monshou, and any/all Clamp stuff. they rule the world(almost). anyway, the site i have is really retarded, i haven't been to it in centuries, so, obviously it shouldn't be. don't bother going to it. referring to that other thread about drawing--i use an art table, but it's not very good. it used to be an arcitect's table and it's wooden(

the girl is Esther, like from the Bible, y'know? she's the main character in "Hadassah,"(her real Hebrew name)the comic i haven't done very much on. =D

Mostly I do computer graphics stuff (see link in sig) and I start with a sketch on paper of what's in my head. Other than that I occasionally draw whatever I see just to pass the time.

I try to do manga, but I'm really not very good at it.
I prefer Predator (see Drawing Tips and Methods, pge. 2 of this forum)
That one that my bro posted for me isn't very good, I've done better, but it's the only one that wouldn't have everybody having nightmares.

I've never tried manga, but i find it interesting. some of the artists obviously have a lot of talent. I'm mostly a cartoonist (e.g. "Spudd"

) and I draw some sketches of other things.

um, no, to be prefectly frank and honest, i haven't scanned any comics on the computar, but i probly will do a preview page very soon. well, hopefully very soon. i'm starting on a new book, i'm not decided on the name, but it's a christian based one about these 4 angels who come down to earth to be with these 3 people. have you guys ever read in the bible about the angels who came down to earth, were enraptured by a human woman's beauty and stayed on earth? isn't that weird/cool?! yeah, anyway...the other manga i have now is in about the middle(13th page)of the second book. it's called zophos strateou and it's about this girl (drrrr) and she is the "stellar captain" of her outfit. hmmmm, yeah and there's this guy (drrrr) and he's the "lunar captain" of his outfit!! yup yup. that's what i'd be scanning. i actually already have like, the cover scanned, but we just got a new computer(yesss!!!!)and there's a glitch with the online connection. poop. so. catcha later. wait! hm murdock....are you in relation to somebody else here? i'm new, i don't know this stuff(?!).

I'm working on developing a book called Warrior Mystic. It's (hopefully) gonna' be manga, but I'm not sure if I can do that yet, but anybeans! It's about this guy, who's trained as a Samurai AND a 'Mech pilot (or Gundam, whatever name you like better) and he has to fight all the automated mechs after they go rogue. :kcool:

I wouldn't call myself a "manga artist" at the least though. haha
Not only because I'm not 'offical' but also because I'm just a silly teen who just really likes to draw, and loves anime style; and one day wants to make something of it.
