Let's Talk About...

How often do you talk to your kids, parents, spouse, etc. about sex and pornography? Regularly? Sporadically? Never?

Statistically speaking, this is a pretty big issue facing... just about everyone. What's your plan / approach?

Never, really.

Sometimes we will talk about how it is something that ruins a lot of people. And, we have talked about the future, and the very different circumstances our future kids will grow up in. Like, pornography will be so easy for them to find.

It is a discussion I want to have some day, though.

My husband and I almost never discuss pornography. Thankfully, it hasn't really been a struggle for either of us since before we got together. As our kids get older, we've talked about how we want to have age-appropriate conversations with them about God's design for relationships and sex, and eventually about pornography specifically. I figure if we don't talk to them first, they'll find out somewhere else, either from other kids or the internet.
