Almost Enough's Songs

I started writing again so I thought I would post a few new ones here and consolidate my old ones.

Wax and Wane

For the want of something more, constellate
With eyes like looming war, dissipate
Bodies creak like feet on hardwood floors
With the nails that wiggled free from stressed out boards
I can relate

Drink the rain and breathe the sky, medicate
Loose the reigns of learned desire, separate
Sondering has left you wrecked before
Entombed your heart in some lost place you knew before
But you can't recall

Wax and wane
It's all the same
Since your love
Has gone away

Embers recollect the fire, narrate
Seasoned wood the fuel desired, instigate
Like a wife who's husbands not the same
Since he came back from that God forsaken war
What was it for?

Would love to see these put to music mate.
I hope that all is well in heaven, 'cause it's all shot to hell down here.
