| Artist Interviews I've noticed since I've been a member here that there hasn't been an interview of a significant artist in quite sometime, (2008 was the last I saw - almost 10 years ago to put in perspective). I was just wondering if the artist interview portion of the website has been retired, or if there are plans to revive this portion of the site. I, personally, think it makes this site unique to have artist interviews. |

| That actually a good point. About uniqueness, that is.
I am not sure if it is in the works, but maybe it should be...

| I'm pretty sure we haven't had any of these since way back when Mickey was running the site, and he had a little bit more of an "in" with artists, it seemed. I think we would probably have a bit of a harder time getting interviews now, considering the site isn't the bustling bastion of traffic it once was. It would be great to see again, though. |

| I interviewed Mark Hall from Casting Crowns in the fall of 2006. That interview didn't get posted until January of 2008. FWIW, Juan (a former owner) was the one who arranged it.
I know that bravesfan has had the opportunity to do a couple interviews. Perhaps we can revive it. |

| I'm certainly in favor, but I also am definitely not the person for the job. |

| I know there has been a long hiatus on interviews, but I have an idea. If and/or when the site gets back to doing interviews, would it be possible to insert a link for artist interview requests? I think it might get people more interested and involved. |

Unless someone up here has access to those in the industry it might be difficult.
My circle of friends in Nashville is VERY small. |

| I wonder... there was a touring member of Skillet on here. And someone from Audio Adrenaline.
There have also been numerous semi-successful regional bands with members on the forum. That could be a cool place to start.

| I don't think they do regularly visit the forum. But, hey, if we can find their names on here and then contacted them in some other way, then they would probably be willing to do an interview. It might even get them more involved int he community.
There was one guy who was super regular on here until maybe two years ago and he was touring with someone super big, but now I cannot remember for the life of me who it was. I remember he even had videos and stuff.

| jamforchrist123 has a band, the skyline social, that was really active for a while. I think they still are. he was last on here in August.
LC7Rock is the one who, I think, was doing a lot of touring. I am pretty sure he was touring with Skillet.

| I just got a chance to view his channel. The dude can play. Any news on the interviews? Just curious if anyone was ever able to snag an interview. |
