What Will You Be For Halloween??

If you are observing this day of festivity, what will you be dressing as?

I was going through some agony trying to decide.

It suddenly hit me: Negan!

Just a leather jacket, black pants, and a bloody baseball bat.

I can't wait.

Japan has no tradition of Halloween, but for the past several years it's become a marketing opportunity. I just saw this afternoon that the Mercedes dealer had a "Trick or Treat" sign on a $150,000 sports car ... what?

The other day at the supermarket, a pumpkin with stencil stickers and instructions for only $40, a bag of Happy Halloween Kiwi fruit, and a Chocolate Danish Ring.

But my wife's dog will be disguised as a Papillon!

Have fun ... careful with that bat!!

My wife's school had a fall festival on Friday. I went as a generic rock star. Orange, star-shaped, sparkly sunglasses, an orange baseball jersey, a Rock Band guitar. Simple. My wife was American Dream/Captain America. My new Captain America t-shirt, a sparkly shield, and an American Dream mask. Since the kids don't really know American Dream, Captain America it was. For Halloween actual, she's going to be a rock star. Heavy eye makeup, hoodie, guitar hero controller.

I went as a Dad walking his zombie daughter around. I thought it pulled it off nicely.

I didn't go trick or treating ... actually haven't for 50 years. Tokyo blocked of a huge area downtown for Halloween, but 90% went to look at other people dressed in costume ... or were they just in their Tokyoite costume?!

My daughter is 2nd AD for "Hawaii Five-0" and had the production staff arrive at work in "Where's Wally" (Where's Waldo" in the US) ...Apparently the cast thought it was hilarious.

My little girl:

A few of the PA Team ... if you've watched the show, you know the room:
