Can I see this without having seen all the others? I know I saw the very first x-men movie way back in the day, and the trailer for Logan was just amazing, but I worry about story gaps.

Eh, I think you can. I don't even remember what happened in some of the movies, and it is pretty far separated from the rest of the story, anyhow.

Oh yeah. Hey, I saw this. It was really good. It was certainly the best XMen movie in a REALLY long time (like, since X-Men), maybe ever. Yeah, probably ever.

Yeah, pretty much. It takes place way after X-Men 3 (which was more or less undone by Days of Future Past, if I recall). To be honest, there's no concrete coherency between all of the films.

I had only seen the original, and generally have not been a fan of X-Men stuff and it still worked really well as a movie for me.

Finally saw it. So many thoughts but I want to watch it again before commenting.

I will be buying this one. It may be the first one I get on 4K when I spring for that later this year.
