True, he's not Peyton, but he is (statistically speaking) the best QB the Cowboys have had. I would stick with the young guy for consistency, and if an injury or something happens, Romo is a very good backup. Let him get as healthy as possible, and who knows where they may finish.

Given Jones' loyalty to him, it honestly wouldn't surprise me to see him starting again before the season is over. I don't necessarily agree with that but it wouldn't shock me.

Well....that may have been the most boring football game I have ever attempted to watch.

A 6 to 6 tie? Really?

Well I'm glad I didn't watch anything beyond half time. I couldn't tell if it was boring or an extremely good game.

Glad I didn't miss anything.

I guess the one takeaway from this week is the Vikings lost. That's honestly a little bit of a shocker.

Re: Seahawks Cardinals: The ending was ridiculously entertaining. But maybe that's just because I get all kinds of joy from watching Pete Carroll make that face.

Re: Cowboys... If I am in charge, Dak is my quarterback. If they start losing with Romo healthy and on the bench, you re-evaluate.

And this is speaking as someone who thought it was a travesty when Alex Smith got hurt, and lost his job to Colin Kaepernick. But that was a different situation. Alex was having an amazing season.

I think Alex Smith has certainly demonstrated that he's deserving of a starting QB job in the NFL. It's always a tough decision to replace a player due to injury, but I also understand the dilemma coaches face with team chemistry when things are going well.

As for the 6-6 tie, I actually watched Alex and the Chiefs beat the Saints, since I was unable to watch it live, and had it dvr'ed. Of course I found it enjoyable as a Chiefs fan, but Drew Brees still has it to be sure. They keep trading off his receivers, and he still makes the ones that remain there viable. Much respect for Drew.

Unless Dak regresses or gets hurt, I want to see him play. I might a 100% healthy Romo in with a big lead to see how he plays and then decide what to do.

I know it was just the Browns but "How 'bout them Cowboys?"

Could this be the year of the Super Bowl for them? I mean, the Cubs did win the World Series. Seems like Dallas is overdue for a championship as well.

I'm not that excited yet.

I do believe this team is working towards that but I don't know that it's ready this year.

I don't know that it affected the final outcome of the game but there was some horrible officiating in that Seattle/Buffalo game last night. Some of it was the same old-same old mess but there were some truly TERRIBLE calls by the striped ones.

And, as usual, Seattle fans have excuses for the bad calls, even after just last week talking about how the system is so rigged against them, and bad calls happen against them constantly.

Last night did not change my mind about Richard Sherman. I do not, I never did, and I never will like the way he plays the game.
