New to the forum and fairly new to P&W

Hello all. I joined the praise team about 5 months ago and it has been such a blessing. I really enjoy using what limited talent God has given me to praise Him and worship Him.

I have been playing a Larrivee OM-40 but I just ordered a Taylor to play exclusively at church.

I am hoping to get some good tips and learn a few things here.

Welcome to CGR!

I barely play guitar and the church tradition (Orthodox) I belong to doesn't use instruments, so...not quite sure what I'm doing here, except that I've been on this site for 14 years, so I guess that makes me an old-timer.
I believe, O Lord, and I confess, that You are truly the Christ, the Son of the Living God, who came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the chief...
~ Ryan Isaac

You descended into the tomb, O Life Immortal,
You destroyed the power of death!
In victory You arose, O Christ God,
Proclaiming rejoice to the myrrh-bearing women,
Granting peace to your apostles,
And bestowing resurrection on the fallen!

Not like a ho ho, mind you. Like a godly ho.

Welcome to CGR. We have several active members who regularly lead worship. I'm sure you find them useful as resources.

What model Taylor are you thinking about?
Through A Glass Darkly
Lee Reviews Stuff
Granville Center Church of Christ Sermons
My German is pre-industrial and mostly religious.

Welcome. I've been around Christian music for a long time as well as other styles. This forum has a lot of good ideas.
