Coffee: How Do You Do It?

What brand?
Ground?
Whole Bean?
Flavored?
Drip Maker?
French Press?

Go ahead...fire away.

I am currently brewing Trader Joe's Cup of Joe that I'm grinding myself.

I am partial to Starbucks and Caribou just because it's readily available.

I typically grind my own beans and use a reusable K-cup though I prefer drip. I also want a pour over or French Press. I need to just suck it up and purchase one.

I add creamer because no matter how much I want, I'm not a fan of black coffee....yet....

I also like purified water, but will work with whatever.

Also, another thing, I like iced coffees, but I love cold brew coffee.

I like my coffee black, with no additives. As for brewing methods, I use a range, but my most common is stovetop espresso, followed by a hand powered espresso maker (https://presso.co.nz/rok)

I also occasionally do pourover or syphon filter coffee. I used to do french press, but have veered away from it. A well maintained (read: not overwashed) french press can make a nice coffee, but when other people make it for me it's inevitably gritty and usually also not strong enough for my tastes.

My usual bean is the oomph blend from a New Zealand based roastery called hummingbird. I buy it as whole beans, and have a burr grinder at home.

I've been using Boston's Best Mudslide blend prepared with a Mr. Coffee drip maker.

I do want to go back to grinding my own though.

I had one cup of instant coffee right after I moved up here. It reminded me why I don't drink it much.

I did used to drink those General Foods International flavored things but there really wasn't much coffee to them.

I don't really *like* coffee, but I do drink it. I prefer iced or cold brew. Usually, I drink this (see picture below). If not that, the plain iced coffee from AM/PM, and in rare cases, Starbucks Cold Brew. Always black.

I get Starbuck's French Roast beans at Costco, and grind them. I have a Cuisinart coffeemaker. I drink it black, no additives, on the strong side of average. Don't mess with my coffee.

I come from a long line of serious coffee drinkers. My mother very rarely drank anything other than hot coffee, no matter how hot it was outside.

My picture didn't show up. It's Starbucks brand unsweetened iced coffee in a big container. I go through about two of them per week.

I hate the smell & taste of coffee.
But if you take part in it--go for it.
