Unpopular opinion: I actually enjoyed Batman V Superman and I'm pretty excited for Justice League. I also didn't realize that Joss Whedon was stepping in, but that could be pretty cool.

There is a lot of BvS that I enjoy.

There is a lot of BvS that I have huge problems with.

It's a really mixed bag for me.

But I am still excited for Justice League. I mean how can a DC fan not be? It's the Justice League on the big screen. And if nothing else, Snyder does know how to make a spectacle.

From what I understand, Whedon is just wrapping things up—it's still very much Zack Snyder's movie.

Funny... I was rather disappointed with the most recent trailer I saw. I'm still excited to see it, but they seem to be making me less and less excited.

Well I officially have my ticket.

I'm impressed that they haven't released any footage of Superman yet (other than the little dream bit of Clark in that last trailer). Good on them.

Couple more weeks to go.

I'm most intrigued about this, especially since they kind of buried him and all...

Also impressed that they haven't released any footage of Green Arrow since he's clearly going to save all their butts.

I'll be interested to see how they resurrect him. In the comic, he and Doomsday basically punch each other so hard that the impact "kills" him. Hibernation really. But in BvS, he's straight up stabbed through the chest. Seems a little harder to bounce back from.

Have they finally put out a new trailer? Maybe I've missed it, but I would expected another one this close to the premiere.

Did you see the one that starts with Clark?

YouTube link

That's the most recent full trailer.

There's also been a ton of smaller footage releases through various outlets the past week or two—tv spots, AT&T exclusives, etc.

Also, you can get your first taste of Danny Elfman's soundtrack here.

The first batch of reviews fall into two categories....but say basically the same thing...

#1 - Not as good as Wonder Woman
#2 - Better than Batman V Superman

So sounds about like I was expecting.

Same. But I find that disheartening. Wonder Woman was good, but I think the themes were better than the actual movie. If the movie didn't have such a strong subject, I think it wouldn't have been nearly as well regarded.

I’m also a bit shocked by the RT score.
