lincoln brewster tone, equipment alternatives, tone tips

So im looking for alternative ways to get a tone that sounds something like lincoln brewsters. I know that he uses a LINE 6 PODX3 to achieve his tone, but id like to be able to see if I can achieve something similar with my own set up.

I have found this task to be kind of difficult and was wondering if anyone can give me some tips with my equipment. Perhaps even some recommendations on new equipment, although Id like to avoid "cheating" and getting a PODX3 myself.

I have a vox AC15 with the stock speaker, an eventide time factor, and a boss blues driver. Coincidentally I have the same guitar as him, picks and all.

I find the AC15 to be very bright and thus somewhat difficult to balance when playing really high registers. in general if anyone could give me some tone tips id really appreciate it.

thanks and God bless
