Continually losing my phone

Hey all,

So I'm constantly losing my phone. My friends are irritated at me because I'm constantly having them text and make frantic phone calls to me to try to find it.

Is anyone else super scatterbrained? How do you keep from losing things, especially cellphones?

Lo! How a rose e'er blooming from tender stem hath sprung,
Of Jesse's lineage coming, as seers of old hath sung,
It came a flower bright, amid the cold of winter,
When half-spent was the night.

Isaiah t'was foretold it, the rose I have in mind,
With Mary we behold it, the Virgin Mother kind,
To show God's love aright, she bore to us a Saviour,
When half-spent was the night.

O flower whose fragrance tender with gladness fills the air,
Dispel with glorious speldour the darkness everywhere,
True man, yet very God! From sin and death He saves us,
And lightens every load.

There are Bluetooth bands that will vibrate when you go a certain distance from your phone. Alternatively, if you get a Pebble smartwatch (other brands may have this capacity too) there are apps for initiating a screech from the phone so you can find it (you do have to be within Bluetooth distance for it to work, of course). Pebbles are relatively inexpensive.

There are also GPS apps for both iPhones and Androids that let you locate your phone from another device.

My issue is more one of losing it due to letting it go dead on me (I have, or had, crap battery life). It'd be nice to have a way to like...anchor it to my backpack or something. Or on a string attached to my keychain? I suppose that could work.

I bet there are good cases that have something to allow you to put a clip on it.

Perhaps something along these lines? (That's for an iPhone 6... I don't know what brand/model you're using.) One of the photos shows a guy using the keyring to attach it to a lanyard, and I imagine something similar would work for keys or backpack attachment. There's quite a few cases out there with either wrist straps or cross-body straps, though some of them are a little purse-like.

Rock a chain wallet iPhone case like it's 1998.
