Overdrive pedal question

Hello, I need some help with an overdrive. I currently help lead worship at a church of about 300 every other week. My current rig is a Gibson les Paul studio/Epiphone ES-339 p90 through a Vox VT20+ amp. My current effects are a EH big muff pi, outlaw quick draw delay and Ernie ball passive volume pedal. The big muff pi is just giving me too much crunch in a worship setting and I'm looking for something with bite but not crunch(if that makes sense). I'm looking to spend $75-$100 and I have been thinking about a Boss blues driver. Any help?

Thanks,
Pete

Check out the EHX Crayon. It's a solid, budget friendly overdrive.

likewise recommended.... Danelectro Transparent Overdrive. Can't beat it for the money in my opinion, but in the wonderful world of gain-stage-related effect (boost, overdrive, fuzz, distortion, metal, etc etc) opinion is everything; and it's not just the tone, it's the feel, or pick responsiveness, or what happens when you roll back the guitar's volume knob, or whatever. Things you can't tell from someone else's sound clip...

anyway, here you go - looks like they're on special with these guys

I really like the sound of Tone Bakery's Crème Brulee pedal. They make both a single and double version with both sides being the same. You can use either or both as a distortion or simply a volume pedal and each side has individual gain, treble and boost controls.
