Experimenting with a Boss SY300

Last year my wife bought this amazing pedal for me, and I've been enjoying exploring what it can do.

Here's a recording I made last night trying to get fully synth sorts of sounds out of it. I'm really happy with the result. Guitar -> SY300 -> interface, one take, no overdubs, no post precessing.

Thanks

I'm really happy with this pedal. It's ridiculously versatile, but that means that for any given sound that you want you have to spend some time making an appropriate patch. I'm gradually building up a library of sounds that I like to use.

Bringing the more synthy sounds into a p&w context could be a bit of a challenge though :P

Whoa.

That. Was. Sick.

Like seriously fantastic. If it's as in-depth as you're saying, I'll pass for myself, but that's some nice stuff.

Hey! Long time no see! How've you been?

Thanks for the feedback

It really is a very fun pedal. However, it is dangerously pushing me toward wanting more full on synth gear.
