I need prayer

Tonight, after a truly horrific shift, I had a meeting with my bosses boss and the local CEO of the facility I work for. It was for input and honestly to apologize for just how bad and unsafe things were. I have a lot of thoughts and considerations about what to do, and I need prayer for direction. I love the population I am working with, but I am having some fairly severe safety concerns.

Also, I am having some personal issues with just some of the situations understaffing has caused. I am not made of iron. Now, I suppose it is a good thing that the CEO asked my opinion today, but it never a good thing when your Ceo asks you a question and goes pale at the answer and calls an emergency meeting.

To be clear, myself and all my patients stayed safe today solely by the grace of God. This is also a second occurrence of this, so I am skeptical for resolution.

For this I will be judged.

My Life.

Praying that the peace of God guards your heart and mind in Christ.

Christ our God, bless Your servant and his labours, and those whom he works with and those he serves, for Yours it is to show mercy and You are good, and You love mankind. Amen.

Just saw this. You and your patients are in my prayers. In my experience, when an executive asks a staff nurse for a reality check, it's because they sincerely want to make things safer. I'm sure they appreciate your honesty, even if scared them. Silence kills, so thank you for speaking up.
