NCAA Hoops 2015-16

Little late getting this thread going. Hard to believe Leboman or Slap hadn't already started one!

KU and Oklahoma put on a classic at Allen Fieldhouse this evening. Triple OT with KU getting a hard earned win. Hield from OU was a beast with 46 of OU's 106 pts. I think he played about 50+ minutes! I was worried my Jayhawks would be a bit tired after playing Baylor on Saturday, but it seemed they had just enough left in the tank for this one. Glad it was a home game, or the outcome would likely be much harder.

The overall landscape of college ball seems to be wide open without any teams that are overwhelmingly better than the rest. I'm thinking the madness of March may be over the top this season.

I had just finished watching Brice Johnson have a 39 point 23 rebound effort and thought I had seen it all.

That KU-OU game is going to go down as one of the best college games ever played.

I agree with your last statement. There are at least ten teams (right now) who have a legitimate shot.

Gonna be a fun season barring injuries.

Yes. Sadly.

UK fans are so spoiled. 99% of other schools would be stoked with our teams. Wildcats fans are skeptical to disappointed, lol.

I wasn't even watching the game until I saw the half time score. Shocked me.

UNC fans aren't much better. Anything less than a Final Four is considered a total failure.

Ben Simmons is ridiculous! So many great teams/players and parity.

I agree with teams and their fan bases being spoiled. Kansas isn't much different. Nearly every year they expect a Final Four, and therefore are often disappointed in something less. Bill Self nearly averages 30 wins a season, and of course that is enough for any program, but yet there are still some in the fan base that bemoan the fact that we've been done in the Sweet 16 too many times.

I haven't been able to follow other conferences too much, but notice Mark Turgeon (former local boy) has Maryland looking pretty good. So many games, and not enough time.

That Arizona/USC game yesterday was ridiculous.

Maryland/Wisconsin was a good one too.

My Heels won so that's all that matters to me right now.

Not really surprised KU lost at WV last night. Huggins has them playing very well right now and that is a very tough place to play. It also doesn't help when your bus is stuck in the snow/traffic and doesn't get there until barely an hour before tip-off. It seems the Big 12 is pretty stacked with competition this season, and I'm not sure Bill Self can keep the streak of conference championships going. There are some Kansas fans that seemed focused on that, rather than playing younger players, getting them some seasoning, and then make a run in March in the big dance. I would rather lose a few games, while taking those players and getting them some time to learn on the court, in games. It would pay dividends down the road.

Yeah, what a great get for LSU. He's got a heck of a career ahead of him, hopefully.

Wow. I didn't see the game or watch SportsCenter this morning so I totally missed that.

I don't think there is any one team that can dominate every one else. There are several really good teams that will make a run for it come tournament time. As long as my Heels are one of them, I'm good.

I am never upset to see Duke lose.

Jaron Blossongame's dunk clinches Clemson's upset of Duke

UNC gets the ugly (boy was it ugly) win over NC State. Notre Dame beats Duke at Duke. Auburn beats Kentucky.

That's what I watched this afternoon.

Duke losing at home...I bet you really enjoyed that

Now that the KC Chiefs season has come to a close, I can focus more attention on bb.

I have two favorite teams: UNC and whoever is playing Duke.
