I wouldn't mind having the 1998 Tar Heels. I think they are one of the best teams (any school) to never win it all. Antawn Jamison, Vince Carter, and Ed Cota. Those guys were sick.

Kentucky looked great against Mizzou the other day. Blowout wins are always fun.

Of course, Kansas is not Missouri.

You got that right.

FWIW, several people are picking Kentucky to win.

UNC played like crap for most of the game but still beat Boston College soundly.

Man...that KU/UK game was something else.

As a Kansan, (not just a KU fan) I thank you for that.

A respectful showing by both teams. Each school has a somewhat spoiled fanbase, and neither seem satisfied, even though both teams have only lost a handful of games. Tonight's contest doesn't make me think KU has turned the corner, and will go on to win the Big XII, as Oklahoma, West Virginia, and even Iowa State are quite formidable this season. Quite frankly, I'm just hoping the catch fire come March, because it's anybody's guess who will win it all this season.

Wildcats put up a very good fight, in a very tough place to play.

It was a very entertaining game. Wasn't crazy about the outcome but that's the way it goes sometimes.

As an interested third party, I was able to enjoy it for what it was: a good basketball game.

However, after watching the UNC/BC game and this one I have to ask, what has happened to free throw shooting these days?

Sheesh. I'm old and out of shape but can hit them consistently.

It was a mess from the line, that's for sure.

I know it's very tough to coach good free throw defense, but these coaches today have really put an emphasis on defending the free throw.

ha ha. One of the most frustrating thing about being a fan, watching brick after brick clanking off the rim from the free throw line. As a fan, I almost get to the point where I think they are automatic, but sure not this season!

Waaaaay back when I played basketball, our coach would pull us from running line drills, while we were still winded and heart racing to shoot a couple of free throws. His logic was; that would be the situation during a game. Many coaches simply have a time during practice, where the players don't even chase their own misses, and simply finding the stroke from the line is only part of consistently making free throws. (I'm not a coach, but I play one in my mind)

UNC went through a stretch yesterday where they were 0-8. They finished 11-22.

That's inexcusable in my opinion.

I shoot better than that. Brice Johnson was pretty good and so was Nate Britt but the rest of the guys sucked. Marcus Paige shot a little better from the floor but stunk it up at the line.

That will lose the close games.
