Here's a fun one. At my church, we put our monthly memory verses to song. This is my favorite:

This is an 80s synthpop-inspired take on Psalm 137:

And here's a snappy little ditty about unconditional election:

That's a wealth of material you've got there with a broad range of styles, nice! I love the concept of the verses with music. Cool vibe on Bury Their Own, sort of like a melodic ballad via Collective Soul, and nice funk on Kicking and Screaming, I dig it! Not to mention that it sounds like you've got your licks down proper!

Thanks.... Bury Their Own is the result of imagining what would have happened if an 80s hair metal band had been Christians from the deep south, and had done a power ballad, a la Every Rose Has its Thorn.

I'm really glad you like it!

My church does a memory verse every month. People are more likely to remember it if it's set to music. A few months ago, the pastor (who is, incidentally, my best friend and neighbor) asked me if I could record something, because the only music he could find for the verse he wanted to do was just rubbish. So, I started recording the memory verses. Eventually I will work them up into proper songs, only making slight modifications for meter and rhyme scheme, etc. once I get 5 or 6 done, I'll release them on a CD for the church.

Here's the memory verse for November 2015:

By the way, Noisy Humbucker..... if you wanna sing on it......... just let me know.

After multiple attempts, here's what should be the final mix for the November Memory Verse. Redid all the acoustic guitars and all the vocals, added a whisper track and some other stuff.
